“Working directly with Yamaha Guitar Development in Hollywood, we chose an array of custom artwork from the shop’s art collection,” says Shawna von Behren, marketing manager, Accessory Products, Pro Audio & Combo Division. “We wanted to take the passion and energy that we pour into every custom Yamaha guitar and translate into a full line of edgy, but striking straps different from anything else on the market.”
Signature Guitar Straps feature the finest-quality components, including ultra-comfortable Softskin undersides to cushion shoulders, Genuine Side leather, and vibrant top-stitching details.
Each design represents a unique story. The SGS KD, for example, replicates the custom f-hole Yamaha Guitar Development director Ken Dapron created for the SA500 Archtop, AES620HB, and Troy Van Leeuwen’s SA503TVL, which he developed while working in collaboration with Yamaha Corporation Japan,. Other models include the SGS Flame, SGS Kanji, SGS Nashville, SGS RGX Black, SGS Archtop, and SGS Punk Red.
Yamaha’s new Signature Guitar Strap line will be available March 1, 2006.
