One Size Fits All: New Snare Drum Case Has Room To Spare
New PCS-1314 Soft-Sided Case Has Room for 13-in. and 14-in. Drums
ANAHEIM, Calif.Yamaha simplifies snare drum storage for school band and concert percussionists with the introduction of the PCS-1314 soft-sided case for concert snare drums at Winter NAMM 2006.
This soft-sided case features a plush interior and a rugged, 600 denier poly-blend exterior. Removable pads allow users to customize and adjust the interior compartment, while the large exterior pocket is designed to store extra drumheads and other accessories.
“With its convenient shoulder strap, durable handles and oversized zippers, the PCS-1314 is comfortable and practical for storage and transportation,” states Ted Kuehnert, Marketing Manager, Accessories, Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division.
The new model fits 13-in. x 4.5-in., 14-in. x 5.5-in. and 14-in. x 6.5-in. drums snugly, and replaces the PCS-1345, the PCS-1455, and the PCS-1465 cases. The PCS-1314 fits all standard-size snare drums, with ample room for snare guards or an extra drumhead.
