LOUISVILLE, KY (June 27, 2001)—Toronto's Westbury National Show Systems, LTD, recently provided sound reinforcement for evangelist Billy Graham's Greater Louisville Crusade, held June 21-24 at the University of Louisville's 42,000-seat Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, attracting crowds of up to 57,000. According to Wilf Wagner, system engineer for Westbury, front of house and monitor mix positions each featured a Yamaha PM1D Digital Audio Mixing System, with an additional PM1D housed in CSP Mobile Productions' Unit 6 remote broadcast truck. Westbury provided an Electro-Voice MT System cabinets for the main PA, with SX, XI and X-Array systems for fills and delays. Amplification included QSC Powerlight, EX and PLX series. Despite stormy weather, all systems worked flawlessly, according to Wagner. In addition to Mr. Graham, house engineer/sound designer Bill Thrasher and monitor engineer Jeff Cowen handled mixing duties for a variety of contemporary Christian performers which included Kirk Franklin, dc Talk, Third Day, Jennifer Knapp, and Ricky Scaggs' Kentucky Thunder Band, plus Graham favorites Michael W.
