YAMAHA COMMERCIAL AUDIO HOSTS PM1D TRAINING SESSIONS

BUENA PARK, CA (June 14, 2001)—Yamaha Commercial Audio sponsored intensive training sessions in the New York City area for its PM1D Digital Audio Mixing System, drawing audio professionals from the areas of live sound reinforcement, Broadway theater and broadcast. Attendees received hands-on instruction in both control surface and engine hardware, plus software applications.

The New York audio industry gets an inside look at the Yamaha PM1D Digital Audio Mixing System. Seminars covered both hardware and software applications.

"These training sessions are designed to answer any questions that end-users may have on the product," said Dan Craik, hardware product manager, Commercial Audio. "This is also an opportunity to really get into all the fine points and discover the capabilities of just what this board can do—without the pressure of a show or a broadcast."

Training has already taken place in Florida and Los Angeles, with ongoing sessions planned for additional markets. PM1D shipments began in early February.
