YAMAHA DRUMS PLAY ACTIVE ROLE AT PAS CONVENTION

BUENA PARK, CA (October 30, 2001)—Yamaha Drums will take an active role in the annual Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) at the Nashville Convention Center, November 15-17. The Percussive Arts Society, better known as PAS, is a music service organization which promotes the education, research performance and appreciation of percussion worldwide. Although show events are open to PAS members only, the public may view manufacturer displays in the exhibit hall for a $10 fee.

Performance by Caribbean Jazz Project (with Dave Samuels and Dafnis Prieto)
11/17 Clinic featuring Rick Marotta, Ross Bolton and Will Lee, East Exhibit Hall, 11:00 AM

Studio Master Class with Brian Fullen (and full band), Room 108, 4:00 PM
Drum Set Fundamentals with Dave Black and Mark Dorr, Room 104, 4:00 PM

Performance by Peter Erskine, with "Nexus," Grand Ballroom, 8:00 PM
