YAMAHA GUITARS OFFERS BEGINNERS MORE CHOICES
Entry-level Models Expand On Popular
F310 Product Line
ANAHEIM, CAFor years, the Yamaha F310 acoustic guitar
has proved to be a staple in the world of entry-level instruments
with its distinctive dreadnought body style, loud acoustic tone,
comfortable playability and competitive price point. Additionally,
the F310 has played a dual role as the centerpiece of the wildly
popular Yamaha Gigmaker Acoustic Guitar Packagean "all-in-one"
solution for beginning players seeking a high-quality instrument
with multiple components and maintenance accessories. For Winter
NAMM 2003, Yamaha Guitars will introduce the F310CS acoustic
and FX310CS acoustic/electric to the F310 line.
Like the original F310, all new models feature a Spruce top,
Meranti back and sides, Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, Nato
neck, striking new Cherry Sunburst finish and Yamaha Limited
Lifetime Warranty. The acoustic/electric FX310CS includes a
one-way preamp with Piezo pickup.
"Offering more choices will not only help us maintain
our position as the number one choice for entry-level instruments,
but will also open up a new segment," states Joseph Brasler,
marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars.
"Many manufacturers will offer entry-level customers
a single model, no choice of options, and reserve the real
quality for their high-end products," adds Brasler. "Yamaha
has enjoyed success by going against that thought with the F310,
and should continue to attract new fans with these new entries."
