YAMAHA CPX5S IS A TONAL "STEP UP"
Acoustic/Electric Model Features Solid
Spruce Top
ANAHEIM, CAThe Yamaha tradition of quality guitars continues
with the Winter NAMM introduction of the CPX5 acoustic/electric.
Similar in appearance to the CPX5, the CPX5S offers the distinctive
Yamaha Compass silhouette, smooth neck action and quality features,
and the addition of a solid Spruce top.
"Players in the market for an affordable acoustic electric
product often have to compromise features," states Joseph
Brasler, marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars. "Thats
not the case with the CPX5S. This model takes the Yamaha CPX
design one step further for the discerning player by including,
in addition to first-class workmanship, the tonal enhancements
of a solid Spruce top."
The CPX5S also features a Rosewood neck and fingerboard, a
Rosewood back and sides with a multi-body binding, die-cast
chrome tuners and a one-way preamp with piezo bridge pickup.
Currently available, the CPX5S includes the Yamaha Limited Lifetime
Warranty.
"Improved tonality and a much warmer sound are what the
CPX5S is all about, and that sound will only improve with time,"
adds Brasler. "A solid Spruce top is a definite step up
for players who want an affordable, quality first or second
instrument."
