YAMAHA TOUR MASTER CASES "TOUGH AS NAILS"
New Cases offer 100 Percent Drum Protection
ANAHEIM, CAYamaha Drums will debut the Tour Master Cases
at Winter NAMM 2003, a new concept in drum transportation and
protection for the gigging musician.
Constructed from a patented Roto-mold process, the "tough
as nails" cases begin as a fine powder which is introduced
into gigantic closed molds in carefully measured amounts, determining
a final uniform wall thickness. The molds are then heated to
650 degrees Fahrenheit, changing the molecular structure of
the powder, which transforms dramatically as it melts and coats
the inside of the mold.
Once the rock hard case is removed from the mold, heavy duty
strap and handles are attached. Padding then lines the top and
bottom of the casecreating a totally protective environment
for the drum. Sizes are available from 8 to 24 inches.
"Given the heavy-duty manufacturing process, the Yamaha
Tour Master Cases will withstand real punishment and protect
your investment for many years to come," states Dave Jewell,
marketing manager, Yamaha Drums.
