ANAHEIM, CA—Yamaha Accessory Products will showcase the entry-level Artiste, mid-level Virtuoso, and high-end, Yamaha product-specific Signature Series gig bags at Winter NAMM 2003. Offering innovation and quality to players of all levels, these bags are all currently delivering, and allow players to transport their portable keyboard and synthesizer products safely, comfortably and conveniently.
"These bags have been designed with the musician in mind—from the casual user to the touring professional," states Bryan Savage, manager, Accessory Products. "The focus of the Artiste and Virtuoso products is form and function, and with the Signature Series, protection and portability."
All bags are constructed of durable 600 Denier nylon shells with brushed linings, and feature embroidered Yamaha logos, along with self-repairing nylon zippers with logo pulls.
The four models of the entry-level feature lightweight, padded envelope-style designs, zippered accessory pockets, shoulder straps and dual zip pulls that can be secured with any standard luggage lock.

The mid-level Virtuoso Series features three premium quality, luggage-grade models. Interiors feature full 1.5" thick, removable padded foam linings that offer protection from impact and dust. Other features include a pleated, zippered accessory pocket, a 14" shoulder strap with durable metal hardware and dual zip pulls.
Designed for musicians who travel frequently, or for those who simply wish to protect their investments, the eight models of the Signature Series have been specifically designed for the Yamaha P Series, S Series, 9000Pro, Tyros and Motif product lines. These true "gig bags" feature form-fitting designs plus interiors and conforming lids with 1.5" removable foam pads. A 14" shoulder strap with metal hardware and the addition of inset wheels offer true "hands-free towing." Vinyl reinforced back, side and bottom areas, eight corner guards and four back runners offer extra protection from impact. Other features include two handles, dual zip pulls and three pleated interior accessory pockets. Dealers will appreciate the fact that these bags ship in half the size of similar products, resulting in significant cost savings.
