DIGITAL DRUMS "HOLD UP" WITH CUSTOM STANDS
DDS1 and DDS2 Provide Fun, Form and Function
ANAHEIM, CAYamaha Corporation of America, Accessory
Products, will showcase the DDS1 and DDS2 digital drum stands
at Winter NAMM 2003. Both units allow players to stand or sit
while using the Yamaha DD35 or DD55 digital drum sets, and are
the ideal accessory for practice, live performance or educational
applications.
Designed specifically for the Yamaha DD35, the DDS1 is a fixed
stand that features a sturdy triangular base for optimum balance
and rubber grips that will hold the unit securely in place,
plus a ledge to hold drumsticks or headphones. The DDS2 has
been designed for the DD55, and also features a large triangular
base, rubber grips and an extended shelf. Using a quick-turn
knob, players may adjust the height of the DDS2 to five different
positions.
"The DDS1 and DDS2 are great for teachers who are using
the DD Series digital drums as music education tools,"
states Bryan Savage, manager, Accessory Products. "For
live performance, they provide a much cleaner, more professional
look than simply placing the drums on a table."
The DDS1 and DDS2 are currently available.
