VIDEO WILL HELP "MOTIFATE"
DVD and VHS Instructional Manual for
Motif Synthesizer Introduced at Winter NAMM
ANAHEIM, CAYamaha Corporation of America, Pro Audio
& Combo Division, announces the Winter NAMM 2002 introduction
of a video manual for the Motif Music Production Synthesizer.
Available in full-length VHS or DVD formats, the 2-hour guide
takes the user through topics ranging from basic "how-to"
through advanced operation. The Motif Video DVD and Motif Video
VHS are now available. Current owners will be able to register
at www.motifator.com
and receive a copy of the video free of charge.
"This practical instructional video brings the music
production capabilities of Motif to life," explains Athan
Billias, marketing manager, Digital Musical Instruments. "It
answers the most-often asked questions that a customer might
have, and will also help dealers to train their sales staff."
Separate chapters are available for Voice, Performance, Pattern,
Song, Mixing, Effects, Master, Navigation and Utility. On the
DVD version, chapter headings allow the user to quickly skip
to the section of choice. Highlights include: how to edit and
control sounds in real time; how to arrange songs using real
time pattern chaining; and how to add vocal phrases or guitars
to a sequence.
In addition, the video features Motif artists from around
the world and every musical genre, including, among other, Mike
Garson (David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins), Linda Martinez (Destiny's
Child), Grip Smith (Jagged Edge) and Steve Hornbeak (Faith Hill).
"The format of this video is designed to put the user
at ease and help them to get the most out of Motif," adds
Avery Burdette, product manager, Digital Musical Instruments.
"Plus, a visual example always has more impact than a standard
printed manual."
