STUDIO IN A BAG: YAMAHA YB01X OFFERS PROTECTION, PORTABILITY

NASHVILLE, TN—Yamaha Accessory Products will debut the YB01X, part of the Signature Series line of product-specific gig bags, at Summer NAMM 2004.
Developed for musicians who travel frequently, or for those who simply wish to protect their investments, the YB01X has been designed to carry and protect the Yamaha 01X mLAN Digital Mixing Studio and other peripherals.
Similar in design to “rolling office” luggage products, the YB01X is constructed with a durable 600 Denier exterior nylon shell, brushed lining and extra thick padding, and features relief-embroidered logos, self-repairing nylon zippers and logo pulls. The interior includes separate compartments for an 01X unit and a laptop computer, plus extra large pockets for accessories, adaptors and cables.
“Customers have been inquiring about this type of product since the launch of the 01X,” states Bryan Savage, manager, Accessory Products. “We spent a lot of time developing the right solution to meet the unique needs of the 01X user, and came up with a true ‘portable studio’ concept. The YB01X is a great addition to our high-end Signature Series keyboard bags, and has the quality that musicians have come to expect from Yamaha.”
Other features include rugged wheels, a retractable handle and dual zip pulls. The YB01X will deliver in early September.
