SERIES FIVE (V) ARRIVES
Latest Loudspeakers in Successful Yamaha
Club Series
NASHVILLE, TNContinuing to build on successful sound
reinforcement products targeted to gigging musicians, mobile
DJs, houses of worship and small-to-medium sized venues, Yamaha
Corporation of America, Professional Audio, will debut Club
V loudspeaker systems at Summer NAMM 2003. Models specifically
designed for mobile and permanent installation applications
offer the choice of either the popular carpet or sprayed elastomeric
finishes.
New cabinet tunings yield improved low frequency performance,
and newly developed transducers allow higher power capacities
for use with larger amplifiers. An improved, constant-directivity
horn was also developed to further enhance high frequency dispersion
and response. Durable steel input panels contain both dual 1/4-in.
and dual Neutrik Speakon® connectors.
"The new Club V loudspeakers continue to offer performance
and selection normally only available at substantially higher
prices," explains Wayne Hrabak, marketing manager, Professional
Audio. "By offering a wide variety of models in two distinct
finish options, Yamaha's Club V can fulfill almost any application."
Models available in either finish include: 12", 15"
and dual 15" 2-way loudspeakers; 10", 12" and
15" floor monitors; plus a single 15", a single 18"
and dual 18" subwoofers. Two models will be available for
suspension (or "flying"): a 15" 2-way and 12"
2-way, both with pre-installed hanging hardware. Carpet covered
cabinets feature heavy gauge, arced steel grilles and steel
corner protectors. Sprayed finish enclosures feature foam backed,
full-face perforated steel grilles, providing a less obtrusive
look for high profile venues.
"The hallmarks of the Yamaha Club speakers are great
sound, rugged cabinetry, and valuein other words, more
bang for the buck," states John Schauer, product manager,
Professional Audio.
