YAMAHA JOINS EMINENCE "MILLION DOLLAR CLUB"

—Eminence Components Integral Part of Yamaha Loudspeaker Products—

BUENA PARK, CA (March 21, 2003)—At the recent Winter NAMM show, Eminence Speaker honored members of the "Million Dollar Club," an honor in recognition of speaker purchases exceeding $1,000,000 for the year 2002. Yamaha Music Manufacturing (YMM), the U.S. piano and professional audio speaker assembly facility in Thomaston, GA was among an elite group which also included Distribuidora Gonher, Eminence Speaker Europe Ltd., Peavey Electronics Corporation and St. Louis Music, Inc.

Yamaha Professional Audio uses Eminence woofer components in the Se Series, Club Series IV and S Series IV loudspeaker products, and Eminence high frequency drivers in the Club Series IV, all built to exact specifications.

Eminence Speaker LLC was founded in 1966 by engineer Bob Gault, whose original intention was to manufacture three 18" speakers per day. Under the leadership of Gault and his son, Rob, the company has grown to be the world's number one loudspeaker manufacturer, with a capacity of over 10,000 speakers per day.

The company employs a primarily local labor force of over 200 in Eminence, KY, and uses many design and manufacturing elements in-house in order to maintain strict quality control and attention to detail.
