Yamaha
Introduces Power Styles
|
Power Styles are now available for users of the PSR-1000,
2000,
9000
and 9000Pro
as well as the CVP-203,
205,
207
and 209
on the Yamaha
Software site. The new patterns include "Pop Classics 1&2,"
"Latin," "Ballroom and Dance" and "Easy
Listening." Customers can even audition each style before purchase,
download them immediately afterwardsand be playing great new
music with them in a matter of minutes.
Yamaha Music Interactive, Inc. General Manager Kevin Mitton explains,
"Although Yamaha consistently talks to our customers to get
their feedback and ascertain their musical requirements, it is,
of course, difficult to include every genre and style of music within
our keyboard auto accompaniment sections. This is particularly the
case with the thousands of unique music styles all over the world
- each often very important to particular regions."
To this end, additional styles have been programmed to try to suit
local tastes, ranging from great new Latin styles to song-related
styles paying homage to current hit chart sounds. Furthermore, in
order to ensure the high quality standards Yamaha customers demand,
several versions of each style have been made, so that the panel
voices and other product-specific features on each keyboard compliment
each other and take the music to an even higher level.
