Yamaha
Mark III Series Disklaviers, like the DC7A 7'6" grand
pictured here, spice up the holidays like no other giftand
add fun and value to your home all year long.

Every model in the Mark III Series is a concert-quality acoustic
piano, but that's just the beginning. Thanks to Disklavier recording
and playback technology, an on-board audio system and other extras,
it's also the ultimate home-entertainment machine.
Using Yamaha PianoSoft PlusAudio software and Yamaha's first
built-in CD player, the Disklavier synchronizes recorded vocals
and instrumentals with its own live piano performance, bringing
to life holiday classics such as Deck the Halls and Winter
Wonderlandalong with tunes from Frank Sinatra, Christopher
Cross and other year-round favoriteswhile the keys move up
and down right in front of your eyes.
The Mark III also helps beginning musicians get into the spirit
with the SmartKey system, which leads users through a tune by actually
"wiggling" the next key to be played. It's ideal for those
who have always wanted to play the piano but haven't learned yet.
The same 60W x 2 audio system that lets Disklavier owners hear
other instruments and voices also makes possible the instrument's
Quiet Mode. When the volume is turned down past a certain level,
the instrument switches from live piano play to digitally sampled
piano through the on-board speakers, so the high-quality sampled
piano sound can suit any atmosphere.
Disklavier owners can record their own piano performances for later
playback, and a vast library of PianoSoft titles offers pre-recorded
music for virtually every taste. The Mark III Series even includes
Yamaha's PianoSmart technology, which uses special Smart PianoSoft
floppy disks that let the Disklavier play along with many of the
standard audio CDs users already own.
With a new twist on old technology, the Yamaha Disklavier Mark
III makes learning how to play the piano fun and easy, and also
provides an entire evening of "live" holiday entertainment,
simply by pressing a button.
