BUENA PARK, CA (October 4, 2002)Buyers of
Yamaha upright and console pianos will have more aesthetic choices
this year with the addition of several attractive new cabinet
styles. The
M500CH console and the P600S, P600QA and P600T uprights all
offer new furniture options for proven instrument designs.
"The piano is unique among musical instruments
because home buyers view it as a piece of fine furniture as well
as a musical instrument," says Paul Calvin, piano marketing
manager, Yamaha Corporation of America. "These new cabinet
designs open up the possibilities for more consumers, so that
a quality Yamaha piano can be the centerpiece of any room."
The P600S, P600QA and P600T, created by noted American
designer Bill Faber, are built around the tone and performance
of the proven P22 45-in. upright with gorgeous cabinets that go
with todays furniture styles. "The P22 is very popular
with schools, churches, universities and teachers around the country,"
Calvin says. "Now, people can enjoy the institutional quality
of the P22 in a gorgeous cabinet that will enhance the beauty
of their home."
