BUENA PARK, CA (April 11, 2003)Since its introduction,
the guitars of Yamaha's APX Series have become the instruments
of choice for many performers, and have garnered a reputation
as one of the world's most admired performance acoustic/electric
guitars. Guitarists cite the fast neck, smooth action, high-tech

The
Choice is Here: Yamaha APX3
|
The APX3 represents a lower-cost version of the
Yamaha APX5A,
with a laminate (as opposed to solid) Spruce top. Other features
include a Nato neck, Rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, Rosewood
bridge, Nato back and sides, black multi-body bindings and diecast
chrome tuners. Electronics include a System 46 preamp with a piezo
pickup. Available finishes include Black, Natural, Sandburst and
Translucent Blue.
"The APX3 is designed for the player who wants
the playability and sound of the APX, but may not have the budget
for the more 'premium' instruments in the line,"
states Joseph Brasler, marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars.
The APX3 includes the Yamaha Limited Lifetime Warranty
and is currently available.
"Although the APX3 offers a competitive price
point, it doesn't 'cut corners' on features or
quality," adds Brasler. "It would make a great first
or second instrument for either the professional musician or the
casual player."
