The 88-key P90 features triple Dynamic Stereo Sampling
(DSS), plus special sustain and note-off samples which reproduce
an incredibly natural and accurate piano timbre—the same
piano sound found on the P250
Digital Stage Piano. Exclusive Graded Hammer action emulates the
touch, feel and response of an acoustic grand piano, where the
weight or resistance of the key becomes gradually heavier from
the top to bottom registers.
The P90 contains a generous 64 notes of polyphony
and 22 MB, a selection of 24 of the best voices available today,
and eight integrated digital effects, including Yamaha’s
acclaimed reverb technology. Two voices may be played simultaneously
in two separated keyboard ranges using Split mode, and combined
in unison or layered using Dual mode.
Additional features include a 2-track sequencer
and dual headphone jacks. Connections include MIDI IN/OUT/THRU
and an integrated TO HOST interface.

states Mike Martin, marketing director, Digital Musical Instruments.
“The combination of features makes the P90 ideal as a teaching
tool, a master performance keyboard, or a controller keyboard
for computer-based music production.”
The P90 is currently available, and includes a
power adaptor, music rest and sustain pedal.
