BUENA PARK, CA (December 12, 2003)—There's no time like the holidays for everything a Yamaha Clavinova CVP digital piano can bring to your home — and with a new two-disk set of special software, this can be a season you'll never forget. This year you'll play piano even if you never have, and even sing with Bing Crosby's voice.

	For an unforgettable holiday with piano music, karaoke and fun voices, Clavinova owners can take two of these and call Santa in the morning.

The "Holiday Gift Set," available at many Yamaha authorized retailers, brings out some of the CVP's most exciting features through the joy of favorite holiday tunes. Current Clavinova owners should ask about the disks, and prospective owners may find that the offer of a free copy makes this the best time to bring a Clavinova home.

The first disk highlights the CVP's "Follow Lights" and score notation capabilities with 10 seasonal favorites like "Joy to the World," "The Christmas Song," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Let it Snow." The disk will activate the "Follow Lights" function on models CVP-203 and higher, allowing users to play at their own pace, embellished by beautiful arrangements, even if they don't know a note of music—simply by following the guide lamps above each key. On models CVP-204 and higher, by simply pressing the SCORE button, the sheet music notation will display automatically on the piano's extra-large LCD display, deepening the musical experience.

The second disk. "Vocal Impressions," offers tunes like "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" and "White Christmas" along with some of the Clavinova's most powerful entertainment features. On all CVP200 Series models, the instrument's display will show the lyrics, turning the Clavinova into a versatile center for Karaoke fun. Some models even offer a "video out" connection, so that the karaoke lyrics can be displayed on a standard television screen.

Perhaps the most fun will come when holiday revelers explore the "Vocal Modification" feature embedded on the second disk, for use with models CVP-208 and higher. Sing karaoke through a microphone plugged into the unit, and hear your voice come out sounding like The Grinch—Bing Crosby—Willie Nelson—even The Chipmunks!
