HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS - AND GATHERED 'ROUND THE
YAMAHA CLAVINOVA

BUENA PARK, CA (November 7, 2003)—When the calendar turns toward the holidays, nothing turns a house or apartment into a home like the Yamaha Clavinova series of digital pianos. And in this most musical season, this could be the year your family stops listening to music—and starts making it together.

CVP-900 Clavinova

Clavinovas, available in a wide range of models for any budget and any décor, are high quality digital pianos used by professionals in the music world for writing, arranging, recording and performing. They feature not only a stunning sampled grand piano sound, but a wealth of other instrument voices-as many as 800 in the Clavinova CVP-900.

But two things really set Clavinovas apart from other quality instruments: their ease of use even for first-time musicians, and the fun owners can have even if they never play a note.

Onboard software makes it possible to make music the very first time a person takes to the keyboard. Onboard digital displays, in full color on some models, display musical notation at your pace, not the piano's. Built-in software guides players through an entire library of popular tunes. What's more, Yamaha's "Follow Lights" system can actually guide new players along the keyboard note for note! Even beginners can play Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman or other holiday standards by simply inserting a floppy disk and following the lights.

When lessons are over and it's time for pure fun, Yamaha Clavinovas remain on center stage. Want to add some karaoke to the party? Put in a Yamaha MusicSoft disk and take over vocal duties while the song's lyrics are displayed on the Clavinova's built-in color screen, or even piped out to a standard television set. Now your friends and family can have tons of fun at your next party by singing classics like Winter Wonderland and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

With the amazing Vocal Harmony feature, the instrument can turn one voice into three—or transform your normal voice into something more interesting. With Total Pitch Correction, it can even adjust the singer's pitch, putting even a monotone into perfect tune, while the Vocal CueTIME feature automatically speeds up or slows down the accompaniment to match the pace of your singing.

The five models in the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-200 Series are available at authorized Yamaha Music retailers.
