US MILITARY ACADEMY'S REGIMENTAL BRASS QUINTET TOURS YAMAHA BAND & ORCHESTRAL FACTORY

The US Military Academy's Regimental Brass quintet recently paid a visit to Yamaha Band & Orchestral in Grand Rapids, MI where they were treated to a tour of the factory and Custom Brass Shop. The visit proved a welcome change of pace from the band's hectic Midwest touring schedule. Founded by members of the U.S. Military Academy Band 1991, current members include Sergeant First Class Greg Alley, trumpet; Sergeant First Class Martin Tyce, trombone; Staff Sergeant Gerald Cates, tuba; Staff Sergeant Brian Nichols, horn; and Staff Sergeant Brian Uhl, trumpet (pictured with Yamaha wind instrument product manager, Kurt Witt on right).
