SHC-43 Sousaphone Case

The new case features heavy-duty wheels, making
it much more mobile and easier to maneuver. A separate compartment
complete with a Velcro bag and wall padding protects
the bell from mystery dents caused by loose mouthpieces
and tuning bits shifting in transit. In addition, a piano style
hinge gives added rigidity to the structure of the case. Draw-bolt
latches and a piano-style hinge with a high-impact ABS plastic
shell make this one of the most rugged and durable cases on the
market.
The case accommodates both Yamaha sousaphone models,
the YSH-301 and the YSH-411.
This case is a great example of an idea whose
time has come, says Kurt Witt, Wind Instrument product manager.
Sousaphone cases have traditionally been very difficult
to transport and maneuver. With a multitude of sousaphones available
today, buying the right case has been very challenging for a band
director. This case changes all of that - it is much more mobile
than other existing sousaphone cases, and it will fit both models
of Yamaha sousaphones making the band directors buying decision
a bit easier.
The case is currently available.
