With the shift in standard to
high sample-rate digital source material, it was necessary to
offer appropriate expansion options, states Marc Lopez,
product manager, Yamaha Commercial Audio. The addition of
16-channels and more available card slots provides these options.
Seamlessly integrating with a Yamaha digital consoles normal
operation, the MY16 Series cards are 24-bit/96kHz compatible and
insert into any of the four mini-YGDAI slots on the rear panel
of the 02R96; six on the DM2000; two on the DM1000; and a single
slot on the 01V96. Audio processing is supported with 48-bit internal
