The "Watch & Learn" series gives Clavinova
owners the experience of a virtual expert seminar in their own
homes. The tapes follow Yamaha Piano Consultant Tom Folenta and
Yamaha Piano Specialist Craig Knudsen as they give step-by step
demonstrations of the Clavinova's many features. Volume I covers
topics such as organizing your data, exploring the voice section,
playing songs using the style accompaniment system, enhancing
your music with Voice Effects, saving your settings, using the
pedals, and more. Volume II offers detailed tips on song playback,
song recording including multi-track projects, song editing, and
style editing. Together, the two VHS tapes make up a powerful
set of enjoyable lessons for Clavinova enthusiasts of all levels.
The tapes are available for $26.95 each at many
Yamaha piano retailers, and they are also available directly from
MIDItainment, Yamaha's partner in creating them, at www.miditainment.com
or 1-800-501-MIDI. Both will be available soon on DVD as well.
A fourth video production dedicated to the Clavinova,
"The Clavinova and the Home PC," will debut this spring.
This offering will explore the exciting possibilities that result
when you connect a Clavinova to a computer-including printing
music played on the Clavinova, the use of basic piano instruction
software, recording studio functions and more. It will also be
available for $26.95 through the same outlets.
