ROUND 2Winner: Ohio State – My inclination is to pick Xavier because I was disappointed in the selection of pictures for OSU but in the only clear picture that I could find for Xavier the dude on the right in the top row killed the rest of the picture for me. Which means OSU wins by default. << back to bracket
Winner: Virginia – This is a tough one because Tenneesee’s page is really nice and they have got some nice pictures but UVA’s photo gallery is much better. I wish I could pick specific pictures from there but you are just going to have to take my word and look through the entire gallery (which I’m sure is very painful). “Very nice” (Borat). << back to bracket
Winner: Louisville – I was disappointed in Louisville’s selection because they supposedly have one of the best cheerleading squads in the country but it’s incredibly hard to find any pictures for them. Probably because of the scandal mentioned here. << back to bracket

Winner: Memphis – If Louisville had more selection - so that I could make a better judgment they might have moved on - but since they don’t their chances end here. << back to bracket
ELITE 8Winner: Virginia – I like Memphis’s bid but UVA’s is in another league. << back to bracket
WEST REGIONALROUND 1Winner: Kansas – I gotta give credit to Niagara’s bid because their page was better then I thought it would be, but the pictures are group shots only. << back to bracket
Villanova Winner: Kentucky wins by default because I couldnt find any pictures that were worth using. But, Villanova never really had a chance. << back to bracket
Winner: Virginia Tech – Illinois bid wasn’t bad but they ran into a strong VA Tech team whose dance team is solid too. << back to bracket
Winner: Holy Cross – when I first saw Southern Illinois page I was impressed because I liked the black and white touch on the photo but my opinion of Holy Cross has improved significantly especially after their performance in "The battle of the mascots". My personal favorites in the slide show were 6, 7, 10 and 15. << back to bracket
Virginia Commonwealth University Winner: Duke – This was an extremely difficult decision but Duke wins. VCU gets props because their dance team has talent but their weren’t any single photos for their cheerleaders and that gave them a disadvantage. While Duke doesn’t have a dance team (not a disadvantage in this case), Brains + Beauty = Victory. << back to bracket
Winner: Pittsburgh – I was hoping I didn’t have to praise Pitt being a UConn fan but I guess I will have to in this round. Both teams had group pictures without much detail but Pitt’s alignment is what did the trick. << back to bracket
Winner: Indiana – It’s always tough to make a decision when you have a bad pic like the one Gonzaga has but I am quite certain it doesn’t matter because Indiana on the strength of the picture could go a long way. << back to bracket
Winner: UCLA – This was a lot closer then I expected it to be. Weber State has a talented squad, but there is something about UCLA’s cheerleaders that made me pick them…. I guess there was strength in numbers in this case. << back to bracket
ROUND 2 Winner: Kentucky – The two pics that were selected to represent the squads were about equal and prompted me to do more research. Here's Kansas' argument and here’s Kentucky's argument. If the Jayhawks had better pictures for their dance team (they only have a picture of their coach), then maybe this would have been closer. Loving the Wildcats dance team’s outfits. << back to bracket
Winner: Holy Cross – Guys are pretty easy to impress, and I am no different. When the talent level is about the same, flash and sizzle wins. << back to bracket

Winner: UCLA – As much as it pains me that Indiana won’t be advancing, UCLA is just too strong. << back to bracket
SWEET 16 Winner: Kentucky – The Wildcats had more substance and style in this match up, ending HC’s Cinderella run. << back to bracket
Winner: UCLA – I liked Duke, but even Dickie V’s rooting for UCLA now. << back to bracket
ELITE 8 Winner: UCLA – Kentucky had a nice run but UCLA’s bench (some of which were in that same photo) came through and helped beat the Wildcats. << back to bracket
MIDWEST REGIONALROUND 1Winner: Florida << back to bracket
Winner: Arizona – Both are talented teams but in the end the slideshows made a difference. Purdue's slideshow (located on this page) v. Arizona Slideshow << back to bracket
Winner: ODU – The picture representing the monarchs was the new coach who was good enough (that and because the quality of the pictures for their cheerleaders were terrible) to beat Butler. << back to bracket
Winner: Maryland – The Terps have a strong dance team too. << back to bracket
Winthrop Winner: Notre Dame – The luck of the Irish got them through this round. << back to bracket
Winner: Oregon – It’s not even close. Oregon is stacked!!! << back to bracket
Winner: UNLV – This one is a toss up. I picked UNLV because Tech’s photo really annoyed. Seriously who goes to cheerleading squad pages to look at the pictures of the dudes, they should cut them out and give a better angle on the ladies. << back to bracket
Winner: Texas A & M CC – Definitely didn’t see this one happening. The Islanders were just stronger. << back to bracket
ROUND 2Winner: Arizona – Gators, do have talent, being in one of the hotbeds for talent, but Arizona’s just stronger. Florida was hurt by not having single shots in this round. << back to bracket

EAST REGIONALROUND 1Winner: Eastern Kentucky – This is why we love March Madness, because of the upsets. EKU has the talent to match and won because single pictures always beat group shots. << back to bracket
Winner: Michigan State – The Spartan’s page was a bit of a pain to go through but they clearly had the firepower to knockout Marquette. << back to bracket
Winner: USC – Let’s just say that the Trojans won despite these incredibly strong bids from the Razorbacks. << back to bracket

Winner: BC – It looked like Texas Tech had talent but I really couldn’t tell with the photos supplied. Besides BC’s squad’s got more game then its basketball team (and no, I am not bitter at all about them leaving the Big East) << back to bracket
Winner: Belmont – The Bruins win because of the Hoyas’ terrible effort. << back to bracket
ROUND 2Winner: Michigan State – MSU had an inordinate amount of photos on their website and I couldn’t swift through them all but this one definitely got my attention. << back to bracket
Winner: USC – This is a classic battle between two of the country’s hotbeds for talent. Texas put forth a really strong effort but they still couldn’t take down the Trojans. << back to bracket
Winner: Oral Roberts – GW wasn’t bad, but if the dynamic duo beats Washington State, then they definitely beat GW. This backcourt tandem could make a major run in this tournament. << back to bracket
Winner: BC – BC wins rather easily because Belmont really didn’t deserve to make it to this round. << back to bracket
SWEET 16Winner: USC – The Trojans are looking unstoppable. I liked MSU but they lose some points in this round for not having making it easy to make a good judgment on them. For example something as concise as this would have made it easier to make a judgment on them. << back to bracket
Winner: Oral Roberts - BC fought hard but they couldn’t stop Oral Roberts. It wasn’t a very difficult choice in the end. << back to bracket
ELITE 8Winner: USC – Bye Bye Oral Roberts, (sniff, sniff). Oral Roberts may have a dynamic duo, but USC has the fab five. << back to bracket
FINAL FOURWinner: USC – Substance over Style. Virginia’s run of mowing teams down with the flash of their website ends when they run into a much stronger force field; the lovely lady Trojans. << back to bracket
Winner: Oregon – Something about Oregon’s cheerleaders made me pick them. Whenever I saw pictures of UCLA’s dance team (outside of their website) they looked great but Oregon’s cheerleaders looked great on their page. UCLA also had too much makeup, and didn’t seem as naturally talented as Oregon. Oregon’s bench also helped defeat UCLA’s star-studded lineup. CHAMPIONSHIP GAMEWinner: USC – Oregon did a commendable job but their lack of versatility (a squad dominated by blondes), was ultimately, the deciding factor.
