Yamaha Percussion
Instruments for the Real World
Given the physical nature of percussion instruments, we have developed a one-size-and-sound-does-not-fit-all philosophy. This is exemplified by the wide variety of models we offer, whether its instruments designed for students, schools, indoor/outdoor use, professionals or anyone in between.
For instance, in concert percussion we offer: over thirty models of vibraphones, xylophones, marimbas and bells; four models of chimes; five series of timpani; five snare drum models; five bass drums sizes; and eight tom sizes. A full array of accessories includes bell stands, snare drum stands, bass drum stands, mallets, sticks, bags, covers, cases and hand-held percussion.
In student percussion, we offer two different snare drum kit configurations, as well as a bell kit and combination kit configuration. Accessories include practice pads, stands, mallets, sticks and bags.
In marching percussion, we offer four marching snare drums designed for high tension Kevlar® drumheads in the MTS series and SFZ series, and one Field-Corps series model designed for a plastic drumhead. The Field-Corps series marching toms are available in five individual diameters and eight basic configurations (including variations of trios, quads, quints and sextets), while the Field-Corps series marching bass drums are available in ten different diameters. For non-competitive marching and for younger players, the Power-Lite series offers one snare drum, four individual marching tom diameters in three basic configurations (various trios and quads), and seven bass drum diameters. A complete line of accessories includes four series of carriers as well as mallets, sticks, bags, covers and cases.
So why not make some music today? Yamaha percussion has everything you need.
