Music Therapy Association
The mission of the AMTA is to advance public awareness of the
benefits of music therapy and increase access to quality music
therapy services in a rapidly changing world.

The International Foundation for Music Research
IFMR was founded in 1997 to support scientific research to explore
the relationship between music and physical and emotional wellness,
with particular attention to the senior population, the impact
of music making on at-risk youth, and music education and the

The John Lennon Songwriting Contest Educational Tour Bus is a
non-profit, mobile recording studio outfitted with traditional
musical instruments as well as current technological advances.

Association for Music Education
Exists to advance music education by encouraging the study and

Teachers National Association
Advances the value of music study and music making to society

Achievement Council
The Music Achievement Council is a non-profit organization of
music industry leaders dedicated to developing and retaining instrumental

Representing, educating and promoting the music products industry.

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciencesknown
variously as NARAS or The Recording Academycontinues its
rich legacy and ongoing growth as the premier outlet for honoring

- NSBA: National
School Boards Association
The National School Boards Association is the nationwide organization
representing public school governance. NSBA advocates local school
boards as the ultimate expression of grassroots democracy. NSBA
supports the capacity of each school boardacting on behalf
of and in close concert with the people of its community.
- Percussion
Marketing Council
PMC is a non-profit music industry organization dedicated to representing
the percussion segment of the music products industry that has
worked with AMC on a variety of publicity campaigns. AMC recently
supported PMCs Hit Like Girl ad campaign which

Oneness is committed to the promotion of racial unity through
music and the arts. The artistic community has a legacy of addressing
the ills of society through music, theater, spoken word and the
visual arts. By utilizing the diverse resources of the arts and

America that truly embraces its diversity of cultures.

Workshop
Encouraging children to learn and grow with music. Sesame Street
Music Work, a public service initiative, designed to provide
parents, early childhood professionals, music educators, and music

of Composers and Lyricists
The Society of Composers & Lyricists is a non-profit volunteer
organization dedicated to advancing the interest of the film and

Supportmusic.com is a public service initiative that intends to
critically impact resolve and support for music education in local

Save The Music
A non-profit organization with two primary missions: to restore
music education programs in Americas public schools, and
to raise awareness of the positive impact music participation
has on students. Since its inception in 1997, VH1 Save The Music
has donated more than $21 million worth of musical instruments
to 900 public schools in 75 cities, improving the lives of more

- Reading, Writing
& Rhythm: The Chely Wright Foundation
A non-profit organization started by country music artist Chely
Wright that is dedicated to improving the quality of music education
in America's public schools. Its aim is to raise public awareness
about the importance of music education for our nation's youth.
- GAMA
The Guitar and Accessories Marketing Association is comprises
guitar and guitar accessory manufacturers and various consumer
magazines. The association has been working to expand the guitar

Foundation
The Grammy Foundation, a non-profit arm of the Recording academy,
has a challenging responsibility to bring national attention to
important issues such as the value of music and arts education
